Have you ever asked yourself as a horse person what it might feel like to be a horse? Maybe? Some folks think that horses are stupid because their brain size isn’t comparable to homo sapiens. Well,…can’t really argue the anatomy but, I don’t think we can tell whether another human is hunting us at the distance of 300 yds, or for that matter what the other dude is thinking at all. So, when the lion appears at the edge of the water hole the horse zebra, has a pretty good idea whether its hungry or thirsty. And, a horse isn’t so clever that it destroys the environment that supports it.
If you have never had a great bodywork/healing session then skip the rest of this article, it probably won’t make any sense to you unless you are a member of the two legged horse tribe. If you are a member of the tribe than ask yourself this question. You just finished blasting around of hill, dale, arroyo, mud, jumps, deep snow and your pack didn’t fit that well, your shoes were a bit gnarly, and the darn load was shifting and out of balance quite often. Do you think your muscles might ache a wee bit? Do you think your performance might start waning after continued “abuse”. If you catch my drift, look for someone who enjoys putting their educated hands on your noble steeds. That craniosacral therapy, rolfing or massage session might just take your partnership to a higher level.
